BarCamp is an international network of user generated conferences — open, participatory workshop-events, whose content is provided by participants.“BarCamp is simply an ‘unconference’ - an ad-hoc gathering of people with the simple desire to share and learn in an open environment.” An event where everyone is a speaker and a participant!

The First edition of Barcampnigeria is slated to take place on the 25th of April 2008, The theme of this year’s event is “Web 2.0 opportunities and role in driving innovation.”

The keynote speaker is Justin Hartman, the founder of Afrigator; a South African technopeneur.
